ROBINSON'S KATIE VU WINS VHSL GOLF TITLE, TURNS FOCUS TO BIGGER THINGS

Katie Vu, a student of Robinson High School, won the Virginia High School League girls' golf championship.

She shot a 2-under-par 70 at Heritage Oaks Golf Course in Harrisonburg.

Vu's win was her second VHSL championship in three years.

She won the title in 2019 as well.

Vu is a senior and will be attending the University of Virginia next year.

She is excited to play for the Cavaliers and hopes to help the team win a national championship.

Vu has been playing golf since she was six years old and has won numerous tournaments.

She hopes to continue playing golf after college and eventually turn professional.
